These students really embraced project-based learning. The students designed their own rocket ship and talked about how they would launch it to the moon. They created stories based on the number three which they presented to the class. They made bridges from limited materials that had to support various weights and sizes. They created paper helicopters which they gathered data about to analyze in their writing. They made bowling balls from clay ball which they competed to knock down markers and record the statistics. Each unit brought new creativity and ideas which the students shared with their peers.
