A ceremony in honor of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to remember his birthday Father’s Day and Nation Day in Thailand Friday December 4th,2020
This year, we had a Father’s Day ceremony on December 4th, 2020.
Americana Chinese International School held a special Ceremony in honor of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to remember his birthday, Father’s Day and National Day in Thailand.
December 5th has become a special day here in Thailand. Not only is it the official date of Father’s Day in Thailand, but it was the date of the anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX. He was born in 1927 and passed away on October 13, 2016. He was the father of the nation and a symbol of fatherhood.
On December 4th, before the holiday, our school had a ceremony to celebrate fathers and let the students show love and respect to their fathers.
Additionally, selected father representatives were invited to come and give heartwarming speeches about the joys of being a father and “Father’s love”. It was a beautiful ceremony to celebrate this important figure in everyone’s life.
