Academics at ACIS

Welcome to Americana Chinese International School! Here, we focus on developing the whole student. We strive to encourage our students to develop strong academics, confident language skills, and good character. We hope that as we grow and build our program that our students will enter the global community ready to work with others, and lead their communities in business, technology and more.

To achieve our goals for our students, our Phoenix Flames, we utilize 100% American Common Core curriculum standards in all our core and specials classes. These classes include:

Furthermore, our students participate in daily Thai lessons and Chinese lessons. Students are placed into appropriate language levels ranging from “Beginner” to “Advanced”. They learn core linguistic components including reading, writing, speaking, and listening as well as culture and history. Every year we celebrate the cultural diversity of our school through events such as Chinese National Festival, Thai Day, and International Day.
