Joining Forces for Integrity and Green Innovation: ACIS at Chiang Mai Global Citizens 2025

On July 24, ACIS joined over 190 private schools and 2,000 participants at the Chiang Mai Global Citizens event at Khum Kham International Convention Center, showcasing education’s role in shaping an "Integrity City" and "Low Carbon Green City", blending Lanna heritage with Thai innovation, and driving Thailand’s soft power on the global stage.
Event highlights included:
Student talent showcases, cultural performances, and a modern-Lanna fashion show with ACIS students among the featured performers
The OPEC National Speech Contest award ceremony
“Top Young Minds Ask Professors” – where students engaged with a former Harvard professor and a CMU innovation expert
Presided over by Mr. Chatree Muangsawang, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Education, the event welcomed dignitaries, consuls, and education leaders, including Ms. Somkid Buarawong, Director of ACIS & President of the Chiang Mai International Schools Association.
