About ACIS
Founded in 2019 by the visionary educators Amporn and Chugait Garmolgomut, Americana Chinese International School was born out of their deep passion for providing a unique, high-quality, yet affordable international school within the Chiang Mai area. With over three decades of experience in education, the founders are committed to preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing society and equip them with the essential skills and competencies required for success and leadership in the 21st century.
Situated in the Nong-Pheung sub-district of Sarapee, Chiang Mai, Thailand, the school's serene location, away from the bustling city center, provides an ideal setting for focused learning and growth.
Specialized Focus, Exceptional Opportunities
At ACIS, students benefit from a well-rounded education, including STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) classes designed to foster teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, and design planning skills. ACIS maintains a conducive learning environment with small class sizes to ensure personalized attention. The student-to-teacher ratio is capped at 20 students per classroom for grades Pk-K3, 26 for grades 1-6, and 32 for grades 7-12.
